Around the globe, socially important projects receive Pro Bono legal support. We, therefore, participate in such projects contributing to the development and improvement of our society and business area.

Kazakhstan: Supporting “The Association of Parents of Children with Disabilities”, an NGO

Advising the Association of Parents of Disabled Children (APDC) on various legal issues:

  • drafting labour agreements;
  • drafting training agreements for APDC staff;
  • drafting material liability agreements for APDC staff;
  • drafting job descriptions for APDC staff;
  • drafting civil law contracts for service provision with various suppliers;
  • the provision of material assistance for the purchase of rehabilitation equipment for children with cerebral palsy.

Russia. Support of the Centre for Public Procedures "Business against Corruption"

Legal due diligence of the validity of applications from entrepreneurs received by the Centre for Public Procedures "Business against Corruption" under the Business Rights Commissioner in the Rostov Region for the signs of raider seizures, as well as corrupt practices within law enforcement agencies.
By considering the expert opinions of the firm’s representatives, the Praesidium of the Centre for Public Procedures decided whether to refuse or support the applications. To this end, Oleg Dereza, the Business Rights Commissioner in the Rostov Region, directed case files to law enforcement agencies to aid them in their work. She also issued opinions regarding the commencement of court hearings based off the applicants’ criminal, arbitration and civil cases.’ (The original sentence is very difficult to understand. I’ve re-phrased it to try and convey what I think it is supposed to mean, but I’m not sure).
Igor Stepanov, the Managing Partner of GRATA International Rostov-on-Don, was awarded a diploma by the RF Presidential Commissioner for Business Rights, Boris Titov, for the results of the firm’s pro-bono work in 2015-16.
