Zhanygul is Legal Development Officer and Junior Associate at GRATA International Bishkek office. She brings a unique perspective shaped by her earlier focus on communications and international law, which enhances her ability to navigate cross-border and regulatory challenges. Prior to joining GRATA, Zhanygul gained valuable experience working with the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic in its International Department, served as a Research Consultant to the United Nations Special Rapporteur on extreme poverty and human rights, Olivier De Schutter, and contributed as a program specialist to development projects with USAID and Mercy Corps.

  • Advised an American payroll and human resources company on Kyrgyz labour law matters;
  • Advised LiuGong Machinery Central Asia on labor matters under Kyrgyz law, full support of obtaining a Unified Permit and employment quotas for foreign citizens;
  • Legal analysis of a franchise agreement for an Arab company, including identifying legal risks and preparing amendments for its registration;
  • Advised Hengxin Metaverse Limited on employment regulation for foreign citizens in Kyrgyzstan, full support of obtaining a Unified permit.
