Alexander Korsak is a Partner of GRATA International, Head of Dispute Resolution. He focuses on dispute resolution, intellectual property, competition and tax law, M&A. Has a vast experience of companies’ Due diligence conduction, structuring and supporting of major deals.
During last years Alexander has been actively dealing with the debt recovery issues, disputes arising from supplying complex equipment and construction, disputes settlement arising among the shareholders of legal entities.
Alexander is experienced in representation of clients and holding cases in national and foreign arbitration institutions, including International Arbitration Court with the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Minsk, Belarus), the Arbitration Institute of Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (Stockholm, Sweden).
Alexander is on the list of recommended arbitrators of the International Arbitration Court of the BelCCI, Nowy Tomysl CCI Arbitration Court (Poland), Georgian international arbitration court (GIAC).

- Representing foreign construction company in a multimillion dispute with a Belarusian customer regarding the turnkey facility construction agreement (an EPC contract with application of the FIDIC book) in the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce;
- Providing legal support within a multimillion project on development of the territory of the High Tech Park by the Israeli investment holding;
- Representing interests of the Belarusian wood pulp producer in a multimillion dispute arising from construction contract on a construction of a plant on a “turnkey” basis;
- Representing interests of the largest Belarusian oil trader in an international arbitration court in a multimillion dispute arising out of oil transportation contract;
- Representing the EU buyer in cause of the acquisition of the controlling stake of a Belarusian children’s clothing retailer (including the legal DD, obtaining the required consent for the transaction of the antimonopoly bodies of the Republic of Belarus, structuring the deal etc.);
- Representing EU company in cause of the acquisition of a Belarusian sewing company;
- Representation of interests of a Belarusian subsidiary of the largest Chinese telecommunication company in the multimillion dispute with a Belarusian contractor connected with construction of one of the biggest data centers in Europe;
- Representing the Belarusian glass production company in the arbitration courts of the Russian Federation in the dispute on equipment supply;
- Representing interests of Belarusian woodworking companies in disputes on equipment supply;
- Representing interests of one of the leading enterprises of textile industry of Belarus in an international arbitration court in a dispute arising out of equipment supply contract;
- Representing interests of a big Belarusian enterprise which is one of leaders of petrochemical complex in arbitration courts of Russian Federation, international arbitration court at the BelCCI in a dispute arising out of construction project works and banking guarantee;
- Representing pharmaceutical company in Economic court under the claim on recognition of a loan contract for the sum of as void;
- Representing the Belarusian hardware producer in arbitration courts of Russian Federation and Economic courts of the Republic of Belarus in corporate dispute and loan agreement dispute;
- Recovery the debts from the Belarusian carriers as damage compensation for lost cargo for the German companies;
- Representing Swedish construction company in the process of debt recovery in procedures of liquidation and following bankruptcy, financial restructuring of the debtor;
- Providing legal support to international group of companies in dispute related to contesting the results of a tender held by a state-owned institution;
- Providing legal support to telecommunication company in entering the Belarusian market, formalization of the relations on software development with the contractor in connection with the BelToll project (system of collecting the payments on Republican roads);
- Carrying out the legal due diligence of a large plant active in a food industry sector for the subsequent acquisition, structuring and registration of the transaction;
- Advising international company working in the spheres of design and construction on conclusion of the investment agreement for the implementation of the project in the sphere of real estate;
- Representation of the interests of the leading producer of metering devices and regulations of thermal energy and measurement of an expense of liquid environments in competent authorities concerning the trademark and know-how protection in unfair competition;
- Representation of the interests of the Belarusian company developing security and alarm systems in the Belarusian antimonopoly body concerning the violation of trademark rights and unfair competition;
- Providing legal support within assignment of the rights on software in the interests of a number of companies and residents of the High Tech Park;
- Providing legal support within establishment of subsidiaries on a turnkey basis in Belarus for outsourcing work;
