Review. Introduction of Restrictions on the Export of Wheat and Flour

Review. Introduction of Restrictions on the Export of Wheat and Flour

From April 19, 2022 to June 15, 2022, restrictions were introduced on the export of wheat and flour from Kazakhstan.

The export of wheat and flour is carried out strictly within the approved quota volumes:

  • wheat and meslin - 1 million tons;
  • wheat and wheat-rye flour – 300 thousand tons.

At the same time, only those applicants who have sold to the grain market operator NK Food Corporation at least 10% of the volume declared for export at a fixed price are allowed to distribute quotas for the export of wheat.
