President of Uzbekistan signed the Resolution supporting exporters

On May 7, 2020, there was signed the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to further support export activities” No.ПП-4707 (the “Resolution No.ПП-4707”), aimed at stimulating the export activities of business entities by increasing the volume of exports.

It was stipulated that upon the export of specific products according to the List established by Resolution No.ПП-4707, part of the costs for transportation of these products by road, rail, and air will be compensated. The Republican Commission for the Development of the Export Potential of the Regions and Industries of the Republic will be responsible for regulating the terms, amounts, as well as the procedure for providing these benefits.

In addition, in accordance with the Resolution No.ПП-4707, until January 1, 2021, the practice of monitoring the presence of debts for all types of obligatory payments of individuals and legal entities during the customs clearance of goods crossing the customs border is canceled.
