According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On amending and adding to the Decree of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-5691dated March 18, 2019 “On measures to further simplify the entry into the Republic of Uzbekistan for citizens of the United Arab Emirates” No. UP-5897dated December 28, 2019, it was established that from January 1, 2020, a visa-free regime for a period of 30 days is granted to citizens of foreign countries who have received the status of a resident of the United Arab Emirates. Persons who have received this status must submit the original resident visa, the validity of which at the time of entry into the Republic of Uzbekistan is more than 90 days.

On a separate note, according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On establishing a visa-free regime and facilitating a visa regime for entry into the Republic of Uzbekistan for foreign citizens with United Nations biometric passes" dated December 24, 2019, № UP-5896, dated January 1, 2020, for foreigners with a red biometric passport Laissez-Passer color introduced a visa-free regime for 30 days from the date of entry into Uzbekistan.

Blue Laissez-Passer passport holders visa procedures are simplified by issuing based on the invitation letter of the inviting party within two business days.

When traveling to Uzbekistan, passport holders of both colors must also carry a national passport (travel document), its validity should not be less than the validity period of the UN biometric pass.
