To help entrepreneurs:
Tajikistan will launch
a single window system

Entrepreneurs in Tajikistan will find it easier to process documents. A single window system has been prepared for the launch to record import, export and transit operations.

The innovation will simplify the issuance of documents, and their preparation time will be significantly reduced. There will be no more paperwork, as all the necessary procedures will be digitized. The database will be available to
participants in domestic and foreign operations. The Tajik authorities are confident that this will attract foreign investors and prevent corruption among officials. The First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade expects the Single Window to play a significant role in the development of the national economy, including trade facilitation, reducing the time and costs of foreign trade operators, and increasing foreign trade turnover and additional revenue to the country's budget.

The concept of creating a Single Window for export, import and transit procedures in Tajikistan was adopted by a resolution of the
government in December 2008.

So far, the system has been operating within the framework of the pilot program. It will be officially launched from the beginning of 2020.
