Nukus Free Economic Zone Created in Uzbekistan

Per the Decree of the President "On measures to create a Free Economic Zone "Nukus", theFree Economic Zone Nukus-farm, specializing in the production of pharmaceutical products, has been transformed into a Free Economic Zone Nukus.

The main objective of the NukusFree Economic Zone is to attract direct foreign and domestic investments for the production of import-substituting products that are in demand on foreign markets. The duration of the Free Economic Zone Nukus is 30 years, and in its territory, there are individual tax and customs regimes.

Participants of the Nukus-Farm Free Economic Zone will be able to obtain the status of participants in the NukusFree Economic Zone without going through additional procedures. They will also retain previously provided benefits and preferences.
