New toll road section effective from September 1st 

As of now a toll is charged on the Usharal-Dostyk section (between km 0+000 – km 123+000) of the public highway of category II in accordance with the Order No. 262 of the acting Minister of Transport of the RK dated August 13, 2025. The measure will affect logistics towards China and Alakol lake.

Syrym border crossing between Kazakhstan-Russia is closed 

The border crossing is temporarily closed to passenger cars and public transport until the end of 2026. Freight traffic continues via an electronic queue, allowing 200 - 250 trucks per day.
