On October 12, 2018 a new edition of the Rules of Carrying Passengers, approved by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 31.08.2018 No. 636, shall enter into force. Carriers and dispatchers will receive additional obligations.
Main amendments of the Rules of Carrying Passengers by taxi relate to:
- requirements to vehicles
- information, which shall be provided by taxi dispatchers or carriers receiving and transferring orders for taxi carriages independently, to tax inspections. From 12.10.2018 not later than 20
- of each month following the reporting quarter dispatchers shall be obliged to submit information on provided carriages of passengers by taxi in the form of an electronic document in accordance with the annex 6 to the Resolution, if the taxi dispatcher is:
- a legal entity of the Republic of Belarus or a carrier independently receiving and transferring orders for taxi carriages via telecommunications or Internet (including electronic information systems) – to the relevant regional tax inspection. Form of provision of this information shall be stated by the Ministry of Taxes and Duties;
- foreign or an international legal entity - through its authorized representative to the tax inspection of Minsk city. Form and procedure of provision of this information shall be stated by the Ministry of Taxes and Duties;
- conditions of performing carriages of passengers by taxi, including those ones ordered via electronic information systems (conclusion and performance of such contracts shall be certified with an electronic receipt sent to the e-mail address specified by the client; information in such electronic receipts is regulated);
