According to the provisions of the draft law, objects of privatization are the following:
- Land plots, where buildings and structures, objects of production infrastructure belonging to legal entities on the property right or privatized by them are located, as well as the land plots adjacent to them, in the sizes necessary for implementation of production activity, the right of use or possession of which is registered in accordance with the established procedure;
- Land plots, vested to the citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the purposes of individual housing construction, maintenance of apartment houses, and lifelong inheritable use rights that are registered in accordance with laws in force;
- vacant non-agricultural land plots;
- territories with uninhabitable apartment houses, which are vested to Urban Development Fund under the Ministry of Economy and Industry.
Additionally, the draft law lists the categories of land plots which cannot be privatized. Furtermore, the draft law prescribes grounds on which lands can be seized.
