Counsel of GRATA International Kazakhstan, spoke at the X International Forum "Anti-Counterfeit-2022"

Counsel of GRATA International, Timur Berekmoinov, made a report on the topic "The practice of combating counterfeit products and parallel imports in the Republic of Kazakhstan" at the X International Forum "Anti-Counterfeit-2022", which took place from 26 to 28 September 2022 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

During the speech, the forum participants discussed topical issues related to the suppression of the circulation of counterfeit goods, practical barriers to protecting trademarks in the customs register of IP objects (CRIPO), as well as obstacles related to bringing violators to justice for the illegal use of trademarks.

The forum was attended by right holders, government agencies, as well as lawyers in the field of intellectual property.

For ten years, the forum has been an open platform for communication between representatives of international organizations, government agencies, business and the public on the most important issues in the field of protection of intellectual property rights, countering the illegal circulation of industrial products, ensuring the legality of the circulation of food and medical products, issues of technical regulation and safety of goods, protection of consumer rights, countering violations in the implementation of Internet commerce, the use of customs and anti-monopoly tools to combat counterfeiting and others.
