GRATA International Mongolia successfully organized a research paper competition

GRATA International Mongolia successfully organized a research paper competition under the topic - "Legal Methods to attract Foreign Investment" in collaboration with the Mongolian Bar Association (the MBA). 7 research papers were selected for the second round of the competition and were discussed on March 31, 2022. The papers were judged by Bolormaa Volodya, the Partner and Director of GRATA International Mongolia, Otgonbaatar Chuluun, the Head of the Civil Law Committee of the MBA, Tuvshintsengel Luvsan, the Head of the Economic Law Committee of the MBA, and Jolbars Sh, the Deputy of the Office. Participants raised interesting issues in their papers and the following three were selected as the best:

• "Opportunities to attract foreign investment by improving policy and regulations on land use"
• "Stabilization of legislation regulating foreign investment relations and its significance"
• "Challenges for regulation of the risks of the parties to a concession agreement with a foreign investor in the mining sector"
