GRATA International held a working group on legal issues at the CCIFK

The online meeting of the Legal Working Group at the CCIFK was held on March 12, 2021. 

The speakers - Maxim Burak, Partner and Aruzhan Aimak, Senior Associate of GRATA International came up with the topic: Issues of company formation and corporate governance in AIFC.

The meeting covered the following issues:

• Introduction to the current law of the AIFC;
• Types of legal entities established on the territory of the AIFC;
• Procedure for the creation and registration of legal entities on the territory of the AIFC;
• Activities of corporate bodies of legal entities established on the territory of the AIFC;
• Advantages of setting up a company on the territory of the AIFC in terms of corporate governance;
• Practical aspects of setting up a company and managing it on the territory of the AIFC.
