GRATA International held a webinar on the topic: “FIDIC Conditions of Contracts. Practice in Central Asia”

On September 12, GRATA International Partner Mrs. Gulnur Nurkeyeva held an introductory 2-hour seminar “FIDIC Conditions of Contracts. Practice in Central Asia”.

The participants of the seminar and webinar were both members of the Chamber of Legal Advisers “Kazakhstan Center of Professional Lawyers”, Law Firms, and representatives of national and foreign construction companies operating in Kazakhstan.

During the seminar, Gulnur answered all questions of the participants. Practice shows the growth of infrastructure projects financed by Multilateral Development Banks, where EPC contracts are concluded under the FIDIC conditions. Members of the Chamber, practicing lawyers noted the particular relevance of the topic due to the growth of clients' appeals, both in civil and criminal proceedings, arising from ongoing and completed construction projects carried out in accordance with the FIDIC Conditions of contracts.
