On September 14, 2025, the Chinese-Speaking Lawyers’ Convention, the largest annual gathering of Chinese-speaking legal professionals, hosted the Qianhai Legal Forum, which focused on “Global Industrial Synergy and Innovative Cooperation in International Legal Services” and the challenges of cross-border legal collaboration.

In her presentation, “Key Insights on Core Rules and Landmark Cases for Court Enforcement in Central Asia,” Ms. Mukhanbet addressed the recognition and enforcement of commercial arbitral awards, with particular emphasis on China-Kazakhstan cross-border cases. Drawing on extensive experience GRATA International Beijing, she outlined practical strategies for navigating procedural requirements, safeguarding assets, and optimizing enforcement pathways under the New York Convention, regional treaties, and domestic legislation.

During her presentation, she shared actionable guidance with legal professionals and businesses on converting arbitration victories into recoveries, highlighting concrete approaches to risk management, transaction structuring, and cross-border enforcement.
