Extension of the special quarantine regime in Azerbaijan

The Decision #256 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 17, 2020 proclaims an extension of the special quarantine regime in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Under this Decision, the special quarantine regime in the country has been extended until August 31, 2020.

The special quarantine regime in Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Yevlakh, Masalli, Mingachevir, Jalilabad cities and Absheron region as well as in Goranboy, Goygol, Barda, Khachmaz, Siyazan and Sheki districts have been extended until August 5, 2020.

The Baku metro will suspend its activity until 06:00 (GMT+4) August 5, 2020.

The entire public transport will not operate on weekends on the following dates in cities and districts in which the special quarantine regime has been tightened:

from 00:00 (GMT+4) July 25 to 06:00 (GMT+4) July 27;

from 00:00 (GMT+4) August 1 to 06:00 (GMT+4) August 3;

The duration of an SMS permission has been increased from 2 to 3 hours.

From July 20, 2020, barber shops, beauty salons and cosmetic services will be allowed in cities and regions where the special quarantine regime is tightened, except for massage and bath services.
