Organization of the teaching and training process in educational institutions operating in the Republic of Azerbaijan

The Decision #312 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated August 29, 2020 proclaims the procedure for organizing the educational process in all educational institutions operating on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Under this decision, the teaching and training process in educational institutions will be organized in the following order:

1. in preschool educational institutions – from September 15, 2020;

2. in general education institutions:

2.1. on the level of primary education of general education (grades I-IV) – from September 15, 2020;

2.2. in special schools, special boarding schools, general boarding schools, boarding schools and gymnasiums with integrated training, in boarding schools with general education for children deprived of parental care – from September 15, 2020;

2.3. on school preparation stage of general education (5 years) – from October 1, 2020;

2.4. on general secondary education level of general education (grades V-IX) – from October 1, 2020;

2.5. on full secondary education level of general education (X-XI grades) – from October 15, 2020;

3. in vocational education institutions:

3.1. on short-term courses – from October 1, 2020;

3.2. on all levels of vocational education – from October 15, 2020;

4. in higher and secondary special education institutions:

4.1. for first-year students – from October 1, 2020;

4.2. for second and senior year students based on the list prepared by educational institutions taking into account the specifics of each specialty and approved in coordination with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan – from October 15, 2020;

5. in music, art and painting schools for children from the dates prescribed for general education institutions based on the ages and grades of students.

Until the resumption of education in the traditional form, the training process in educational institutions will be organized remotely from September 15, 2020.
