The AIFC Academy of Law invites you to first AIFC Legal Talks event of the year

On April 17, 2020 the first-ever Legal Talks hosted Online. The Panel session: “How to use AIFC Law Online” will include a panel and talk show format with audience interaction.

 The discussion among panelists and questions from the audience will be moderated by David Gallo, Head of the AIFC Academy of Law.

Maksim Burak, Partner of GRATA International will take part as a speaker. Topics of discussion:

1) How would you describe the nature of force majeure clauses/non-performance/frustration (according to Kazakhstani legislation and AIFC Law) and possible application of such clauses in the current situation?

2) Which provisions of the Acting Law of the AIFC may help to conduct business in the current situation?
