Mrs. Gulnur Nurkeyeva, Managing Partner and Head of GRATA International China spoke at the 37th LAWASIA Conference.

The event was held on 13-15 October 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was attended by about 30 high-level representatives of the legal community of the Asia-Pacific region. The main theme was exploring the legal landscape in the digital age. In her speech at the ‘Business Law - One Belt, One Road’ session, Mrs. Gulnur Nurkeeva noted the extent of development of digital technologies in Kazakhstan, including artificial intelligence (AI), and the measures taken at the state level to support development in this direction. In addition, Mrs. Gulnur Nurkeeva spoke about how AI is being implemented in the IFCA Court and the International Arbitration Centre to facilitate more efficient work of these institutions with independent jurisdiction. Also, during the speech, a video about Kazakhstan and GRATA International was shown. 

The annual LAWASIA Conference is an important platform for the convergence of bar leadership, lawyers and professional organisations of the Asia-Pacific region. The event discusses regional developments in law, including Business Law, Environmental Law, Rule of Law and Human Rights.
