GRATA International will join an international online seminar on PPP in China

On 21 March, Environmental, Energy and Climate Law Cluster Seminar will be held in China, with participation of Shaimerden Chikanayev* as a speaker. 

Mr. Chikanayev will speak with his presentation ‘In Pursuit of a Just Energy Transition through International Unification of Laws on Public-Private Partnership: A Case Study of Central Asia'. 

The success of the just energy transition depends on the success of international unification of the PPP legislation and promotion of the new “PPPs for Sustainable Development Goals” (SDGs) concept, says Mr. Chikanayev. The definition issues with PPP for SDGs will be discussed, as well as enabling just energy transition for the current renewable energy projects. 

The webinar will be organized jointly by the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Centre for Comparative and Transnational Law (CCTL) in China.
