GRATA International held a webinar in collaboration with Hogan Lovells

GRATA International's Cooperation Department in collaboration with Hogan Lovells Partners held a webinar on "EU, UK, and US sanctions against Russian Federation", as part of the meeting of the Banking and Finance Committee. 

Speakers included Jamie Rogers (Hogan Lovells UK) and Aleksandar Dukic (Hogan Lovells US)

The session brought together partners and associates from banking teams across more than 20 jurisdictions, with 26 participants attending the webinar.

The discussion covered key aspects of sanctions frameworks in the EU, UK, and US, including sectoral restrictions, trade bans, financial sanctions, and asset freezes. Particular attention was given to the impact of secondary sanctions, compliance risks for businesses, and enforcement mechanisms. The presentation also explored strategies for mitigating legal and financial exposure in cross-border transactions.
