Around 29 contracts in the amount of US$104.1 million have been signed on 28-29 September 2018 during the fair of national products “Made in Uzbekistan” and Uzbek-Indian Business Forum in New Delhi.
Event, in which more than 100 representatives of government organizations of two countries have taken part, was organized within the framework of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev to the Republic of India.
In particular, parties signed 28 export contracts in the amount of US$102.1 million dollars and 1 import contract in the amount of US$2 million. Export contracts include agricultural, chemical, as well as textile products, while one import contract was signed for building and construction products, the Uzbek Foreign Trade Ministry said.
Organizers of the event were State Committee for Investments, Chamber of Commerce, Ministry for Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as national exhibition complex “UzExpoCenter”.
