  • Worked on a land acquisition matter where our client intended to purchase property for setting up a factory, and the land belonged to a Church. Conducted detailed legal due diligence, examined title documents and regulatory aspects, prepared a comprehensive due diligence report, and advised the client on legal risks and compliance requirements before proceeding with the transaction. 
  • Analysed a financial transaction involving a Shareholders’ Agreement and an Option Agreement, examining the rights, obligations, and financial implications for the parties involved. Assisted Senior Counsel in reviewing the transaction structure and key contractual terms. Also prepared a detailed note for the client outlining the legal position, potential risks, and strategic considerations arising from the agreements.
  • Reviewed and analysed documents relating to a family property dispute in Goa, while the concerned family members are presently residing in Belgium. Examined title records and relevant legal aspects, and prepared a detailed advisory note outlining the legal position, available remedies, and the appropriate course of action.
  • Advised a company on initiating insolvency proceedings against itself to address and resolve its outstanding debts. Examined the legal framework, eligibility requirements, and implications under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, and provided guidance on the appropriate course of action to ensure compliance and effective debt resolution.
  • Advised a client intending to establish an advisory business focused on personalized lifestyle enhancement services, including guidance on intimate wellness and men’s health care. Provided legal guidance on business structuring, regulatory compliance, documentation, and risk management to ensure the venture operates within the applicable legal framework.
  • Currently managing the legal aspects of a Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) of a reputed company in India. Handling advisory, drafting, and litigation-related tasks, and closely assisting the Resolution Professional in ensuring compliance with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and smooth conduct of the insolvency proceedings.
  • Research on important Judgements on the Commercial Courts Act, including judgments where the constitutional validity of the provisions of the Act has been challenged. • Conduct research to ascertain whether a personal holding Nepalese nationality is required to obtain a visa and/or work permit to undertake employment in India.
