GRATA International Turkmenistan Held Business Seminar “Why Every Business Needs a Lawyer”
On 31 October 2025, GRATA International Turkmenistan successfully held a business seminar titled “Why Every Business Needs a Lawyer” at the “Iş Nokady” Co-working Center in Ashgabat.
The event brought together over 70 participants, including entrepreneurs, company executives, and representatives of various industries. The seminar aimed to raise awareness among business professionals in Turkmenistan about the importance of legal support for sustainable business operations and risk prevention.
The seminar was opened by Ikbal Said Alauddin, Managing Partner of GRATA International Hukuk Consulting, who introduced the firm’s mission, values, and commitment to delivering high-quality legal services based on both international standards and deep understanding of local specifics.
The program featured three main sessions:
- Corporate Law – Building a Strong Legal Foundation, delivered by Serdar Amanov, Senior Associate;
- Contract Law – Contracts as the Prominent Instrument for Protection of the Business, presented by Lachin Amandurdiyeva, Senior Associate;
- Taxation – Understanding Your Fiscal Responsibilities, conducted by Mekan Bashimov, Counsel, and Annamenli Rozymyradova, Associate.
Each session provided practical insights into the respective areas of law, emphasizing how proactive legal advice helps businesses mitigate risks and ensure compliance with Turkmenistan’s regulations.
The seminar concluded with closing remarks by Ikbal Said Alauddin, who highlighted the importance of continuous legal awareness for businesses and expressed gratitude to all participants for their active involvement.
A networking lunch followed, providing attendees with an opportunity to exchange experiences, share ideas, and establish new business connections in an informal atmosphere.
