
Andrei Doronkevich is a counsel to GRATA International, Belarus. For over 30 years, he has specialised in banking and finance law, corporate governance, the securities market, project finance and public-private partnerships.
He has extensive experience working in the banking sector of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation. Throughout his professional career, he has held senior management positions at major financial institutions, including CJSC “Republican Central Securities Depository”, CJSC “BelKomBank”, OJSC “Paritetbank”, OJSC “ASB Belarusbank”, OJSC “Belagroprombank” and CJSC “BTA Bank”, where he held the positions of Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, Director of the Internal Audit Department, independent director, Chairman of the Audit Committee and Chairman of the Management Board.
He was involved in the implementation of international projects in collaboration with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). He was a member of the team responsible for drafting the Programme for the Social and Economic Development of the Republic of Belarus, and also served as a member of the Securities Council under the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus.
