Seminar on Recognition and Enforcement of Kazakh Court Decisions Held for the Ministry of Justice of Kazakhstan

On 23 October, Aigerim Bikmaz, Partner at GRATA International (Ankara office), Co-founder of BETA Law Office, Master of Commercial Law and PhD Candidate, together with the Astana office of GRATA International, conducted a seminar for representatives of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The seminar focused on the recognition and enforcement of judgments of Kazakh courts in Türkiye.

Participants included representatives of various departments of the Ministry of Justice (without mentioning individual names, in accordance with confidentiality considerations).

The event was organised jointly with:

The seminar provided an in-depth overview of the legal framework, recent developments, and practical challenges associated with cross-border enforcement between Kazakhstan and Türkiye, and facilitated a productive professional exchange between the two jurisdictions.
