The practice of litigation regarding the declaration of the absence of rights to real estate objects continues to develop dynamically. The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, with the support of the Constitutional Court, is changing the approach of lower courts and now requires consideration of the legal nature of claims, which allows bona fide purchasers to defend their rights to property.

Work under government contracts without proper documentary support still carries the risk of litigation, particularly with respect to construction contracts. Special attention should be paid to extensions of deadlines attributable to the client, as a lack of proper documentation in such cases may result in penalties, contract termination, and inclusion in the Register of Unscrupulous Suppliers (RNP).
