Kamila Urazalina Contributes to the World Bank’s B-READY 2026 Report

Kamila Urazalina of GRATA International contributed her expertise to the preparation of the World Bank Group’s Business Ready (B-READY) 2026 report in the area of International Trade, focusing on the regulation of trade in goods.

The assessment examined provisions of Kazakhstan’s and the Eurasian Economic Union’s (EAEU) legislation governing international trade. It covered the simplification of customs procedures, procedures for obtaining customs rulings on the classification, customs valuation and origin of goods, as well as rulemaking procedures and regulatory impact assessments.

Additional areas included cross-border trade and product labelling requirements, international integration, non-tariff measures and mechanisms for protecting businesses.

The B-READY team thanked Kamila for her expertise and contribution to the assessment, recognising her participation with a Certificate of Appreciation.
