Gulnur Nurkeyeva, Managing Partner, Head of China Office, was awarded the Medal of the Chief Justice and Chairman of the AIFC Court and International Arbitration Centre. She received the award in the centre of Beijing from the hands of the Registrar and Chief Executive of the AIFC Court and the International Arbitration Centre Mr. Christopher Campbell-Holt. According to him, this special medal is awarded for outstanding achievements and contribution to the development of these institutions. As Mr. Christopher Campbell-Holt noted, Gulnur Nurkeyeva has provided great support in promoting the AIFC Court and the International Arbitration Centre in China and throughout Asia.
Along with the growing interest of Chinese investors in Kazakhstan, more and more contracts include clauses of these organizations as instruments of dispute resolution between the parties. To date, the AIFC Court and the IAC have heard 20 cases involving Chinese investors on various commercial issues.

The medal from Lord Burnett, who was the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales from 2017 until 30 September 2023.
His excellency Ambassador of Kazakhstan in PRC as well as Vladimir Imamovich Norov ex-secretary-general of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation congratulated Gulnur.
