GRATA International Participated in the 11th Belt and Road Summit in Hong Kong

GRATA International participated in the 11th Belt and Road Summit, held on 9–10 September 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

This year’s Summit, held under the theme “Advancing High-Quality Development • Embarking on a New Journey,”brought together government representatives, business leaders and professionals from across the Belt and Road region and beyond to explore new opportunities for international cooperation, trade and investment.

Shaimerden Chikanayev[1], Partner at GRATA International, participated in the Summit as a delegate, representing the firm and engaging with participants from different markets and industries.

The two-day programme covered a wide range of topics related to cross-regional economic cooperation and business development, with particular attention to emerging opportunities across Central Asia, ASEAN and the Middle East. The programme included policy dialogues, business plenaries, roundtable discussions, thematic sessions, project investment sessions and deal-making activities.

This year’s Summit also placed a strong emphasis on supporting international business expansion and strengthening connections between companies, investors and professional service providers, with discussions covering finance, technology, green development, infrastructure and investment opportunities across Belt and Road markets.
