Emir Artykov

Emir Artykov is an Associate at GRATA International Hukuk Consulting in Turkmenistan.

Emir has legal experience in corporate, commercial and regulatory matters.

He focuses on legal research, contract review and negotiation, drafting and reviewing legal documents, client communication, and support on compliance, customs, tax, and corporate procedure matters.

His practice is particularly connected with oil and gas, construction and infrastructure, as well as cross-border legal issues.

Before joining GRATA as an Associate in March 2026, Emir worked as an In-House Legal Assistant at Hakyda, an oil and gas distributor in Dubai, from June 2024 to August 2025.

At Hakyda, he assisted on legal matters with a focus on tax and shipping law, including legal research, support on tax-related issues, review of shipping and logistics documentation, compliance support, and management of legal risks related to cross-border trade and operations.

Prior to that, from November 2023 to February 2024, Emir worked as a Legal Intern at Petronas Carigali in Ashgabat and Kiyanly.

There, he worked closely with senior legal members of a multinational oil and gas organization and gained practical experience in legal research, document preparation, and support on regulatory and commercial matters, while developing an understanding of the sector’s operational and cross-border legal requirements.
