Aidar Sarymsakov

In 1995 Aidar obtained his honour degree in Law from Kazakh State University. Between 1995 and 1997 he continued demonstrating outstanding academic performance at State and Law Institute within National Academy of Science and successfully graduated with honours in postgraduate studies.

From 1997 to 1998 Aidar worked for the State Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Investment department where he was a legal manager. During his employment at the Committee he was involved in drafting and signing of more than 300 major investment contracts, as well as in drafting of legislation on protection and promotion of investments.

Between 1999 and 2001 Aidar did internships at leading multinational law firms in the UK and the USA. He also took training courses on management of law firm.

Aidar’s speciality spreads though various areas of law such as Corporate, Commercial and Investment, as well as on use of natural resources, energy and banking. He proactively participated in development of Kazakh legislation on use of minerals, ecology, energy and protection of investment.

Aidar is also a member of Commercial Lawyers Chamber (KazBar) and Lawyers Assocication of Oil and Gas Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He is a fluent user of Kazakh, Russian and English Languages.
