Meeting between Aigerim Bikmaz and Representatives of the Russian Business Community in Turkey

Aigerim Bikmaz, Partner at GRATA International (Ankara office), Co-founder of BETA Law Office, Master of Commercial Law and PhD Candidate, held a series of meetings in Turkey with representatives of the Russian business and export community.

Among the participants were Mr. Timur Safin, representative of the Scientific and Export Centre in Turkey, Mr. Denis Simonov, and Mr. Marat Tansykkurzhin, Trade Representative of the Republic of Bashkortostan in Turkey.

The meetings focused on discussing practical mechanisms for supporting Russian businesses operating or planning to enter the Turkish market. During the discussions, BETA Law Office presented its expertise in cross-border transactions, corporate structuring, investment projects, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution in Turkey.

Particular attention was given to legal support for export-oriented companies, investment protection strategies, and the structuring of commercial activities within the Turkish legal framework. The parties also exchanged views on specific case studies and current challenges faced by Russian entrepreneurs in Turkey.

As a result of the meetings, the participants agreed to maintain ongoing cooperation aimed at supporting Russian business initiatives in Turkey. The collaboration will include the exchange of professional expertise, legal assistance within cross-border projects, and participation in business events and forums dedicated to Russian-Turkish economic relations.
