GRATA International Partner joined the 4th Annual IT Law Forum as a keynote speaker

GRATA International Partner Yerzhan Yessimkhanov joined the 4th Annual IT Law Forum as a keynote speaker. The event was held on 14 August in Almaty and brought together leading experts in digital law, intellectual property, as well as representatives from the digital industry and government agencies.

Yerzhan's keynote speech focused on the challenges of regulating artificial intelligence (AI). In particular the draft law On Artificial Intelligence, that is currently under discussion in the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Yerzhan highlighted key issues related to AI regulation across various professional sectors and shared several practical examples from both Kazakhstani and international practice.
