Starting from 2026, Kazakhstan will implement a new Tax Code that will reshape the taxation landscape — introducing new rates, digitalization, VAT automation, and enhanced control. Electronic invoices, online cash registers, and updated accounting requirements will become part of the new system.
On 10 November 2025, the Kazakhstan Accounting Forum will take place - one of the country’s largest professional events bringing together experts in taxation and financial regulation.
Kanat Adilbekov, Partner of the Tax and Customs Law Department at GRATA International, will speak at the session “Digitalization of Tax Administration and Electronic Document Management” with the topic: “Tax Audits from 2026: Key Changes and Features of Desk Control.”
Among the forum experts are representatives of regulatory and supervisory authorities, heads of tax and accounting departments of major companies, tax consultants, and auditors.
The program will cover key innovations, practical insights, and recommendations from leading professionals.
The event is designed for chief accountants, CFOs, tax specialists, and auditors.
