GRATA International Takes Part in a Leading Arbitration Forum in China

GRATA International Managing Partners Vladimir Komarov (Russia), Gulnur Nurkeeva (China), Bakhodir Jabbarov (Uzbekistan), and Ummi Jalilova (Azerbaijan) participated in the 2026 Chinese-Speaking Lawyers Conference, organized by the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA).

The conference brought together more than 500 participants from 58 countries and regions, including legal practitioners, experts and academics, as well as representatives of Shenzhen-based companies and industry associations. Discussions focused on opportunities for businesses seeking to expand into global markets, the development of the legal environment in the Asia-Pacific region, and stronger cooperation within the APEC framework.

Particular emphasis was placed on the role of law as a key mechanism for protecting and supporting businesses in the course of international expansion.

For GRATA International, participation in a major international forum of this scale provides an opportunity to stay abreast of global developments in international arbitration and cross-border dispute resolution, while further strengthening ties between the legal communities of China, Central Asia and other jurisdictions where the firm operates.
