Almat Daumov joins the Supervisory Board of Kazakhstan Chamber of Mines

On March 2023, Kazakhstan Chamber of Mines was established as an industry association representing the interests of exploration and mining companies in Kazakhstan’s mining sector.

The Chamber aims to foster a favorable investment climate, promote responsible subsoil use practices, and strengthen industry cooperation.

GRATA International joined the Chamber in 2023. In 2026, Almat Daumov, Partner at GRATA International, joined the Chamber’s Supervisory Board alongside industry representatives such as Steeve Kuhn (Fortescue), Simon Robert Cooper (Pallas Resources), Aida Alzhanova (Solidcore Resources), Madina Kapenova (Aurora) and Aigazy Kussainov (Verum Mining).

This appointment reflects the active role of Almat Daumov and GRATA International in the development of the mining sector and underscores the firm’s expertise in natural resources. Participation in the Supervisory Board will enable contribution to shaping the industry agenda and advancing the legal framework for the sustainable growth of the sector in Kazakhstan.
