Anuar Nurmagambetov is a Representative and Head of Business Development of GRATA International in Southeast Asia.
Anuar has more than 13 years of experience in the Kazakh and international legal services markets, with focus on corporate finance, M&A transactions, debt restructuring, complicated by many foreign creditors, corporate governance. Prior to joining GRATA International, he held the position of Managing Director at Maersk Oil in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Anuar is a PhD in Law. Dissertation topic: "Implementation of the principle of freedom of contract in the civil law of the Republic of Kazakhstan". The acquired academic knowledge was applied in subsequent specializations of Anuar in the fields of chemical industry, oil production, financial services and corporate governance.
