Olmoskhon Khamidova participated as a speaker at the V International Pharmaceutical Forum

On June 12, Olmoskhon Khamidova, Counsel and Head of Intellectual Property & Pharmaceuticals Practice at GRATA International Uzbekistan, participated as a speaker at Panel Session 6 on "New Regulatory Architecture 2026: Medicines, Medical Devices and Safety Standards" as part of the V International Pharmaceutical Forum, held in Tashkent on June 12, 2026.

Mrs. Khamidova delivered a presentation on "National GMP Certificate and Manufacturers from WHO-Listed Authority Jurisdictions." She provided a practical legal analysis of the ambiguity arising from Presidential Decree No.137 regarding the exemption from the national GMP certificate requirement for manufacturers from WHO-Listed Authority jurisdictions whose products were previously registered under the national procedure.

The presentation sparked a meaningful professional discussion on the application of Presidential Decree No.137, which resonated strongly with forum participants. As a result of the session, the issue was included in the session resolution, and the industry united around a common position to engage constructively with the regulatory authority.
